Contains the same researched specifications, FCHG49 glucosamine HCI and TRH122 low molecular weight sodium chondroitin sulfate as found in Cosequin DS. Each tablet contains: calcium (min.) 78 mg, phosphorus (min.) 78 mg, potassium (min.) 12 mg, chloride (min.) 3 mg, magnesium (min.)4 mg, iron (min.) 3 mg, copper (min.) 0.1 mg, manganese (min.) 0.25mg, zinc (min.) 1 mg, vitamin A (min.) 1000 IU, vitamin D3 (min.) 100 IU, vitamin E (min.) 2 IU, thiamine (min.) 0.81 mg, riboflavin (min.) 1.0 mg, niacin (min.) 10.0 mg, pyridoxine (min.)0.1 mg, vitamin B 12 (min.) 0.0005 mg. My dog is 7 years old and weights 108 pounds. Lately he has been slowing down and, had hurt his knee, so it was hard for him to get up and down. I decided to try Cosequin which I had seen advertised on TV. He hates the taste, they are chewable, so I have to cover them with peanut butter. It took about 6 weeks to see the great results, he is running around and getting up and down with ease again. It is like a miracle pill, if you love your dog like I know most dog owners do, give it a try. I buy the cosequin for large dogs. Thanks for this quality product, to bad it doesn't taste good.

These are tablets with a strong odor, and a chalky feel to the fingers; whereas my not-so-discerning Mastiff gulps offered Glucosamine tabs like treats, these have to be wrapped up in peanut butter or cheese before he will take them. Since he has to take 2 a day and they are not cheap, seems like someone could have thought about this.
